A Memorable Day for Sparkling Taekwon-Do

On September 4, 2015, the Farmers Conference Centre at Kilimo Grand Resort in Kikuyu was officially inaugurated by His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta. This landmark event not only marked a significant development in the region but also showcased the incredible talents of local communities, including our very own Sparkling Taekwon-Do Club.

During the opening ceremony, our demonstration team had the honor of performing in front of esteemed guests and dignitaries. The enthusiasm and skill displayed by our participants left a lasting impression, particularly on President Kenyatta. We are thrilled to share a special moment captured in a photograph where the President is seen greeting Joyce Nyambura, one of our talented athletes. His genuine appreciation for her performance highlights the dedication and hard work our team puts into promoting Taekwondo in our community.

This event not only provided a platform for us to showcase our martial arts skills but also strengthened our commitment to community engagement and youth development through sports. We are proud to be part of a day that celebrated both agricultural advancements and the spirit of sportsmanship.
